The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Odoo Developer to join our distributed development team at Agent Elite. You will be a key player in the design, development, maintenance, and customization of our Odoo-based ERP system, focusing on leveraging Python and Odoo framework to integrate AI/ML models for enhanced internal process automation and data analysis.

This is a full-time, 100% remote position.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

Customization and Development: Design, develop, and integrate custom Odoo modules and features using Python, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance, specifically for Odoo version 18.4 and later.
AI Integration: Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to integrate trained AI/ML models into Odoo modules for tasks such as automated lead scoring, predictive inventory management, or workflow optimization.
Maintenance & Support: Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within the Odoo system and related integrations.
System Analysis: Gather requirements and translate complex business needs into functional Odoo solutions.
API Development: Develop and maintain robust integrations between Odoo and third-party applications, external APIs, and internal AI model endpoints.
Code Quality: Participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

Proven Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Developer, with strong experience in Odoo version 18.4+.
Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Python and the modern Odoo framework/architecture.
AI/ML Integration: Practical experience in integrating AI/ML services or models into an application layer (e.g., calling external APIs or interacting with local models via Python).
Web Technologies: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.
Odoo Development: Extensive experience with Odoo customization, module development, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and report creation.
API & Integration: Experience integrating Odoo with external systems using RESTful APIs and other integration methods.
Independent Worker: Proven ability to work autonomously, manage project timelines, and communicate effectively in a remote setting.

➕ Bonus Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience with Python libraries commonly used in data science (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
Familiarity with cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Certification in Odoo development or relevant AI courses.
