Job Description

As a Remote Content Editor / Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in shaping our publications and promotional materials. You will ensure that our authors’ voices are polished and resonate with readers while crafting engaging copy that reflects our commitment to LGBTQ+ literature.

Responsibilities

Edit manuscripts for clarity, style, and coherence, providing constructive feedback to authors.
Write engaging promotional materials, including press releases, newsletters, and website content.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that highlight our books and authors.
Maintain consistency with brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
Proofread content to ensure it is free of errors and adheres to our established guidelines.
Stay current on industry trends and LGBTQ+ literature to ensure relevant and impactful messaging.

Requirements

Proven experience as a content editor, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in publishing or a related field.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with LGBTQ+ literature and a passion for advocating diverse voices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
