Carrier Sales Representative

As a Carrier Sales Representative you are responsible for the coverage of our customers’ freight and ensuring it’s seamlessly serviced. You will be responsible for developing relationships with carrier companies and committing to sustaining and growing those relationships through consistent and strategic communication.

Responsibilities

Create and manage an individual book of business

Develop new and grow existing relationships with carriers through cold calling, lead generation, and referrals

Source and negotiate with the carrier base to move available loads

Book available freight in a cost-effective manner

Track and trace individual book of business to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries

Communicate customer problems, leads, and inquiries to the customer sales reps

Properly document truck capacity within TMS system

Collect proof of delivery documents in a timely manner

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or Communication preferred

2-3 years sales or customer service experience preferred

English level +B2

Strong work-ethic

Sales driven

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confident decision-making skills

Ability to multitask
