At MATE, we sell and support the heavy trucks and equipment that keep cities running—clean streets, safe water, and critical infrastructure. We're looking for a driven sales professional to take ownership of a well-defined territory in Southern Maryland and grow it like it’s your own.

Territory includes Washington, D.C., Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel County, Charles County, Calvert County, and St. Mary’s County.

What You’ll Do

This is a field-based role with autonomy and real opportunity. You’ll manage a mix of existing accounts and open new doors in a high-demand territory. Your mission is to be a trusted partner—someone who understands both the customer’s needs and the equipment that can solve them.

Visit customers throughout D.C. and Southern Maryland
Demo equipment, follow up, and close the deal
Own your schedule and manage your territory like it's your own business
Learn and speak confidently about hydraulics, electrical systems, and chassis specs

You’ll Excel Here If:

You're a sales professional looking to enter a more technical, value-driven industry
You have mechanical aptitude—whether through personal interest, previous work, or hands-on experience
You’re a strong communicator who can build lasting customer relationships

You're comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and getting in and out of trucks and equipment
You have a clean driving record and are willing to obtain a CDL (we’ll sponsor the process)

This is a remote role covering the Southern Maryland region, with regular collaboration and equipment access at our Clinton, MD, branch.
