Milkweed Editions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Input Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role involves entering and managing data related to our authors, publications, and marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities

Accurately input and update data in electronic systems related to publications, authors, and sales.
Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepancies.
Assist in creating and maintaining databases for tracking submissions, contracts, and marketing materials.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and input relevant data.
Provide timely reports as needed to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma; associate degree or higher preferred.
Proven experience in data entry or administrative support.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with database software is a plus.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
