Job Summary

We're building the core of a modern fiduciaire company, EasyBiz, and we need a strong Senior Backend Engineer to help us do it.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex backend features: from reporting systems and workflow automations to the key logic that powers our product. You’ll work in a fast-moving team, supporting a junior engineer and collaborating directly with product and design. We’re looking for someone who can lead by example, write clean scalable code, and ship features that make a difference.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Own the backend development of key features: accounting reports, workflow automation, and data processing;
Build and maintain scalable REST APIs using TypeScript and PostgreSQL;
Mentor a junior backend engineer and support their growth;
Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to turn business needs into working code;
Ensure high-quality code through testing (e.g. Jest) and peer reviews;
Take responsibility for project delivery from concept to production, including CI/CD and post-launch support.

Requirements:

7+ years of backend development experience;
Expert knowledge of TypeScript (Nest.js preferred), Node.js; PostgreSQL
Experience designing scalable systems and building clean, well-documented RESTful APIs;
Comfortable working autonomously and leading projects end-to-end;
Solid understanding of backend architecture, system design, and test-driven development;

Nice to Have:

Experience with ORMs like TypeORM or Prisma;
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and message queues (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka);
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitHub Actions), Docker, or basic DevOps tasks;
Background in fintech or accounting systems.
